One of the main core values of Milo is that you don’t need to press any buttons to talk. This makes Milo a hands-free / eyes-free device.
However, we know that you sometimes want that option. So, yes: you can use Milo in push-to-talk mode:
- Hold the big front Milo button while you talk, let go when you’re done talking.
- After you let go, you’re automatically muted (if you started from muted).
- When you decide to go fully hands-free again, just click the Milo button once to unmute – now you’re in hands-free mode.
It’s as simple as that. And you don’t need to coordinate this with anyone in the group – everyone is at choice about using Milo in PTT mode or hands-free mode.
Just remember to check if you’re muted if you think your group is ignoring you!
NOTE: If you enable water clearing mode in Milo Link, PTT mode is disabled since both use the same button interaction.
