Low Latency Mode is great for activities like coaching where line-of-sight is maintained and low delay is important. Low Latency Mode prioritizes shorter audio delay which may affect range and audio quality, so enable it when reduced delay between speaking and being heard is more important than long range and noise cancellation. Low Latency Mode does not use the voice activation or noise suppression of the default Milo handsfree mode
Low Latency Mode is a group-wide setting: it is either enabled or disabled for everyone in the group. The mode is disabled by default: If you leave a group that was in Low Latency Mode, you are automatically returned to the default Milo handsfree mode.
How do I use it?
Low Latency can be enabled only when in a group, so first power up and group your Milos. Then, enable the setting in Milo Link or in the on-device settings menu (smile-shaped button on the back).
Milo Link: Choose one of the grouped Milos in the list of connected Milos. Go to Advanced Settings > Low Latency Mode and enable (or disable) the mode. You only need to do this on one Milo: the change automatically applies to all Milos in the group.
On-device menu: Click the smile-shaped menu button on the back of Milo to access the settings menu, then navigate with volume up/down until you hear the low latency option. Click the group button to toggle the setting. Then click the menu button again to leave the menu with the new option set, or wait for the menu to time out.
