How to record your Milo communications

Sometimes you might want to record your Milo group communications. For example, you may want to share an adventure with someone else. To do that, you'll need:

  • an unused Milo connected to your group that can be dedicated to monitoring the recording
  • a USB-C to 3.5mm audio (headphone) adapter & cable
  • an audio recording device
    • The recording device can be anything that's able to record audio using a 3.5mm headphone plug such as a smartphone with a headphone plug, an camera like a Go Pro, or a dedicated audio-recorder like a TASCAM or Zoom

To record:

  1. Plug in the USB-C end of the adapter into the dedicated "Monitor Milo"
  2. Plug in the 3.5mm end of the adapter into the audio recorder
  3. On the Monitor Milo: Mute the mics, set volume to max, and disable its Proximity Mute

Do a quick test recording to verify that audio is getting captured. That's it!
