Remotely Silence or Unmute grouped Milos

Using voice commands, you can silence (mute) other Milos in your group. This actually closes the mic on other Milos, it doesn’t just turn down the volume to zero. This helps manage unwanted noise when others don’t realize they are transmitting background noise. You can also unmute others in your group

How do I use it?

To silence everyone, say “OK Milo, silence the group” or “OK Milo, silence everybody.”

To silence one specific Milo, say “OK Milo, silence NAME.” For example “OK Milo, silence Jo.”

To unmute others, say OK Milo, unmute the group” or “OK Milo, unmute NAME.”

Anyone who has been silenced by someone else needs to unmute themself as normal: with a Milo button click.

Note:

Since this is a voice command, you need to first enable voice control in Milo Link on your Milo to use the feature. Voice control is not yet available for Milo languages other than US-English.

In this preview release, please be aware that anyone’s mic can be unmuted by anyone else.

This feature was first added as a preview feature in v. 12.0.0.
